Join us and build _your_ ambition. **ABOUT THE ROLE** This role reports to the Plant Manager and will prepare operation schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality meet client specifications. Manage subordinate staff in the day-to- day performance of their jobs. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. **WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH** + Promotes a culture of performance and exceeding expected results + Fills in for Plant Manager during Plant Manager’s absence. + Drive and track financial performance via monthly operation forecast. + Effectively develops goals and objectives to implement actions, track performance and continuously look for opportunities for improvement + Balance inventory and sales needs to manage and minimize working capital impact + Works with sales team to drive customer retention and attraction + Drive quality for customer retention + Seek opportunities to meet and exceed customer expectations + Ensures a quality product within specifications and timely delivery to clients + Works closely with peer plant managers and operations manager to develop best practices, processes and to ensure plant activities are optimized and costs are best in class + Actively lead on a daily basis on site operations + Implement and follow best practices for maintenance, production and shipping processes + Implement strategies to achieve target key performance indicators (KPI) + Effectively use Company resources and programs to drive operational excellence and assist with thedevelopment of aggregates specific resources as needed + Provides leadership for operations and office staff + Follows the HR business cycle (Annual performance review, Annual Objective setting, Individual + Development Plans, Mid-Year Reviews, Career& Succession Planning.) + Participate in the development of emerging leaders to be ready to move into more responsible roles + Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety andenvironmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. **WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR** **Education:** Bachelor's degree or 5 years of equivalent experience. **Field of Study Preferred:** Mining, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, CIM **Additional Requirements:** + Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approvedPersonal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
