THIS POSITION REPORTS TO: THE CUTTING MANAGER
1.0 PURPOSE:
1.1. This document prescribes the expectations, skills, and education / experience requirements for the position
identified.
2.0 ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
2.1. Execute job duties in a safe and efficient manner.
2.2. Compliance with Safety policies and Safety expectations.
2.3. Each person, regardless of role or position, is responsible for Food Packaging Safety and Quality and GMP.
2.4. Report any issue or event that poses a risk to employee safety, the environment and facilities, or food
packaging safety and quality.
2.5. Ensure that a safe workplace is always maintained and that the habits and practices of every employee hold
safety as the top priority.
2.6. Create and maintain a strong safety culture.
2.1. Assist with all cutting operations on their shift/machine.
2.2. Perform quality checks on the product produced and materials coming to machine.
2.3. Ensure quality meets customer standards and non-conforming tag completed.
2.4. Provide a clean and safe working environment to themselves and employees in their work area.
2.5. Assist with make-readies.
2.6. Safe operation of motorized pallet jacks.
2.7. Ensure all cutter machines have stock to run.
2.8. Coach teammates not following safety requirements, follow up with management as appropriate.
2.9. Cover breaks for Operators.
2.10. Keep email updated.
2.11. Safe operation of aerator.
2.12. Perform preventive maintenance and upkeep on production equipment.
2.13. Keep area in specs within all 5S requirements.
2.14. Work in a fast-paced environment. Complete tasks in a timely manner.
2.15. Follow all applicable policies, procedures, and instructions.
2.16. Participate in continuous improvement activities, corrective actions, plant/corporate safety events, and
training.
2.17. Perform other related duties as assigned.
3.0 EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
3.1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
3.2. Ability to follow instructions.
3.3. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
4.0 ABSENCE PROVISION
4.1. Another comparable position will back up this position in the event of an absence.
