Grand Hyatt San Francisco is seeking a passionate, service-driven Assistant Operations Manager – Food & Beverage to join our leadership team. This role will support and lead daily F&B operations across multiple outlets, ensuring seamless service, team engagement, and exceptional guest experiences aligned with the Grand Hyatt brand.
As a dynamic leader, you will collaborate with department heads, foster an inclusive and motivating environment, and be a hands-on presence in the front and back of house. **Key Responsibilities:**
+ Oversee the day-to-day operations of hotel F&B outlets (including restaurant, bar, in-room dining, and banquets)
+ Support the F&B management team in achieving departmental goals related to guest satisfaction, colleague engagement, and financial performance
+ Lead by example in delivering exceptional guest service in alignment with Hyatt service standards
+ Assist with scheduling, training, coaching, and evaluating team members
+ Collaborate with culinary and stewarding teams to ensure consistency in food quality and service execution
+ Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control processes
+ Monitor cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health department regulations
+ Handle guest feedback with professionalism and urgency, ensuring issues are resolved promptly
+ Participate in pre-shift meetings and departmental planning
+ Support banquet operations and event execution as needed
This is a salaried position with compensation ranging from $64,484 to $74,100.

**Qualifications:**
+ Minimum of 2 years as F&B Management preferred
+ Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred
+ Ideal applicant should have strong organizational skills, ability to work with flexible work schedule, be a team player and a dynamic leader
+ Ability to multitask and remain calm in high-pressure situations
+ Flexible schedule, including availability on nights, weekends, and holidays
+ Proven experience with POS systems and Microsoft Suite
+ Passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences
