Location: Mease Countryside Hospital – Medical/Surgical ICU – Safety Harbor, FloridaStatus: Full Time (80 hours per two weeks)Shift: Varies Occasional weekend requirementOn Call: NoAlways in person

Requirements:

RN (Registered Nurse) LicenseBachelor's Degree in Nursing OR Higher2-years' RN experience in the ICU in an Acute Care settingBLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart AssociationPreferred experience - 1 year of Nursing Leadership Preferred certification - CCRN

 

The Assistant Nurse Manager – ICU responsibilities and skills:

Proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective management skillsSupports the Nurse Manager in a supervisory capacity while managing team member and patient care issueOngoing team member performance appraisal and the hiring, counseling and terminating processActs as a role model for other team members and the communication of organizational informationDelegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
