Responsibilities

As an Assistant Nurse Manager at Clovis Community, you’ll support a dynamic Short Stay Surgery team specializing in pre- and post-procedural care. In this fast-paced environment caring for patients with mid to low acuity needs, you’ll help lead operations that contribute to over 26,000 surgical cases per year across the system. 

Apply the leadership and administrative skills you developed at the bedside to ensure efficient patient flow and coordinated, compassionate care. Coordinate patient care, foster staff development, drive performance improvements, and ensure operational efficiency. Create a positive working environment that values inclusion, diversity, and career growth for every team member. 

As a member of the unit leadership team, the Assistant Nurse Manager is an exempt level role scheduled 8-hour shifts. 

Qualifications RN – Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required BLS – Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required Certifications as required for the unit  Disclaimers
