Assistant Merchandiser
**JOB SUMMARY** Manage clerical duties involved with purchasing from order entry to clearance in country. This includes but is not limited to order entry, confirmations, vendor communication, and supporting all merchandising responsibilities. **RESPONSIBILITIES** + Vendor Communication. Compiling product specifications, verifying pricing, following up on scheduled carrier appointments. + Assisting Merchandisers in duties to include, but not limited to, confirmations and order entry. + Expediting orders due to change in demands. + Act as Merchandiser back-up on as-needed basis. **QUALIFICATIONS** **Education** + HSD or equivalent. Bachelor’s preferred **Experience** + 2 year purchasing or inventory experience required **Professional Skills** + Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and excellent organizational and follow up skills required.
