Overview Job Summary Provides personal care assistance to patients under the direction of licensed personnel and /or Administrator. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Population Served Job Responsibilities   Performs direct patient care duties as assigned under the direction of a provider.   Triage phone calls, call in prescriptions and advise patients as directed by a provider. Provides for patient safety. Possesses the ability to perform day to day clerical task and related duties.   Participates in ongoing educational activities. Completes assigned goals. Specifications Experience Description Minimum Required Preferred/Desired  Approved nursing or medical assistant course. Minimum of one year experience. Education Description Minimum Required Preferred/Desired  Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency. Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties. Training Description Minimum Required Preferred/Desired  Approved nursing or medical assistant course Special Skills Description Minimum Required Preferred/Desired  Computer literacy.
