\nWhat are we looking for?
\nThe Assistant Marketing & Communications Manager plays an essential role in supporting the Marketing & Communications Manager in achieving key objectives outlined in the annual marketing and PR plan. This role directly contributes to the success of all resort revenue-generating areas — including Food & Beverage, Spa, Gym, Kids’ Club, Dive and Water Sports Centre, Tennis, Accommodations, Weddings, and Destination Dining — by helping to drive visibility, engagement, and commercial performance.
\nThe position involves managing individual projects across marketing, media relations, social media, and internal communications, while performing day-to-day administrative duties to the highest standards. It is key to creating a consistent multi-channel experience for our guests and maintaining a powerful online and offline brand presence.
\nSpecifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\nWhat will I be doing?
\nStrategic Support & Cross-Department Coordination
\n\nAssist the Marketing & Communications Manager in executing the annual marketing and PR strategy to meet hotel business needs.\nCollaborate closely with all revenue departments to support campaigns, promotions, and initiatives that drive commercial results.\nContribute to projects designed to increase resort awareness across all relevant target markets\n\nDigital Marketing & Online Presence
\n\nSupport the planning, execution, and performance tracking of digital marketing campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels.\nManage and maintain hotel presence on digital platforms, including CMS, CRM, ORM, and email tools.\nMonitor key performance indicators such as web traffic, conversion rates, and digital ROI.\nConduct regular benchmarking and competitor analysis to ensure strong digital positioning\n\nSocial Media Management
\n\nOversee daily social media activity, including content planning, creation, scheduling, publishing, and engagement.\nDevelop and manage a monthly content calendar aligned with the marketing strategy and brand tone.\nWork with internal teams to gather creative assets and stories to feature across platforms.\nAnalyze social media performance metrics and recommend improvements for growth and engagement\n\nPublic Relations & Media Engagement
\n\nSupport the execution of PR strategies and media outreach to promote hotel offerings, events, and experiences.\nMaintain strong relationships with media and press contacts and act as a liaison with PR agencies.\nCoordinate press visits, interviews, filming, and photo shoots; ensure necessary approvals and hospitality arrangements are in place.\nKeep press kits, media databases, and coverage records updated and assist in compiling regular PR performance reports.\n\nEvents & Activations
\n\nBe present and actively involved during hotel events, assisting with media coverage and live social content.\nEnsure events and special campaigns are supported across all channels and aligned with brand messaging.\nCollaborate with internal teams to prepare promotional materials, visuals, and media support before each event\n\nBrand Campaigns & Partnerships
\n\nAssist in implementing marketing campaigns for rooms, dining, spa, and seasonal offerings.\nSupport initiatives tied to brand partnerships and loyalty programs (e.g. Hilton Honors).\nCoordinate with external agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure consistency in branding and messaging\n\nAdministrative & Reporting Duties
\n\nHandle administrative responsibilities including purchase requests, complimentary tracking, database maintenance, and budget documentation.\nAssist in preparing weekly/monthly reports on marketing and communications activity and ROI.\nMaintain up-to-date documentation of departmental activities and ensure all projects are well-tracked and reported\nWhat do I need?
