Overview of Role
As Assistant Marketing Communication Manager at Conrad Singapore Marina Bay, you will support the hotel's marketing initiatives with a focus on social media, creative content and digital marketing. Working closely with Director and Marketing Communication Manager, you will help shape the hotel's storytelling, enhance brand visibility and drive engagement across online channels. This role is hands-on and creatively driven, requiring strong content creation, editing, photography and video editing skills, along with experience collabrating with agencies and creative partners.
Responsibilities of the Role
Specifically, as Assistant Marketing Communication Manager, you will perform the folllowing tasks to the highest standards
Social Media & Content Creation
- Manage the hotel's social media channels, including content planning, copywriting posting and community engagement
- Develop engaging, platform specific content - graphics, short videos, reels and stories - that strengthen brand voice and guest connection
- Collaborate with agencies and creative partners on campaign concepts, graphic and multimedia content production
- Track performance and optimize content strategies based on insights and digital trends
Creative Development, Photography & Video Editing
- Provide hands-on support in photography and video editing for digital and social content
- Edit and produce creative assets that align with brand standards and elevate guest engagement
- Work with agencies, photographers and videographers to deliver high-quality visuals and multimedia
Digital Marketing
- Support digital initiatives including email marketing, SEO/SEM activities and performance tracking
- Assist with website content management and updates to ensure accuracy and engagement
- Contrbute data for campaign reports and digital dashboards
Campaign & Event Support
- Contribute to the rollout of integrated marketing campaigns across social and digital channels
- Support F&B promotions, guest experiences and on-property events through creative storytelling
Collaboration & Administration
- Work closely with Sales, Revenue and Operations team to ensure alignment of marketing activities
- Assist with reporting, budget tracking and administrative tasks as required
Other Duties As Assigned
- Carry out any other reasonable tasks assigned by the Director or Marketing Communication Manager
What are we looking for?
- 2 to 4 years of experience in marketing communications, social media or content creation, preferably in hospitality, lifestyle or luxury sectors
- Strong expertise in social media management and creative content development (graphics, photography, video editing)
- Excellent writing skills with an eye of engaging, brand-consistent storytelling
- Experience collaborating with agencies and creative partners or content production
- Proficiency in digital marketing (SEO, SEM, email marketing, website management)z
- Proactive, detail-oriented and able to deliver under deadlines
- Collaborative, creative and comfortable working with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred
