Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization
Coordinate and implement assigned tasks to aid in the creation of Visual Merchandising guidelines, instore storytelling & training tools to align with Brand positioning and strategy. Coordinate and implement assigned tasks to aid in the development, innovation and management of all Visual Merchandising and instore marketing tools ensuring Global consistency. Drive sell-through by effectively implementing retail space projects, in accordance with Global/Market best practices, that provide cost-efficient, consistent and premium elevated brand presentations.
As the Assistant Manager Wholesale Marketing Visual Direction, you will be responsible for the execution and implementation of Visual Merchandising (VM) and in-store communication (ISC) strategies across wholesale partner doors. Reporting to the Senior Manager, WHS Marketing VM & ISC, this role ensures that store execution aligns with brand standards, supports product storytelling, facilitates consumer engagement, and drives sell-through at the point of sale. You will work closely with field teams, retail partners, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of VM & ISC direction within the retail space. Driving executional excellence during key marketing moments such as seasonal product launches, store refreshes, and Go-to-Market sell-in. Making sure that we are providing the best brand experience within the wholesale retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Visual Merchandising Managers to create VM tools that ensure continued alignment to Brand objectives and positioning: Coordinate the development of guidelines, training programs and tools for markets to implement the VM concepts. Work alongside account VM representatives to update and refine visual merchandising guidelines that will drive consistency across the market. Build renders that assist with driving the brand partnership within the retail environment. Assist the Visual Merchandising Managers to create ISC tools that ensure continued alignment to Brand objectives and positioning: Provide comprehensive ISC direction outlining strategic marketing tactics and brand guidelines Work alongside account VM/ISC partners to develop creative content that supports global/market priorities and aligns with seasonal marketing moments Partner with external vendors to facilitate the production and distribution of in-store marketing Assist in the development and installation of branded elements within the retail space: Partner with vendors to ensure our brand is showing up in a premium way Work alongside account VM/Marketing team to ensure we are providing accurate tools and resources to maintain brand elements within the space Assist in driving, measuring and reporting on retail space productivity with recommendations to stakeholders for continuous improvement within branded spaces. Assist in the ideation and creation of seasonal story-telling aligned to key marketing priorities during go-to-market sell-in season. Assist in improving processes: Monitor the Retail industry (brick and mortar and digital) for best practices that can be adapted for adidas Data consolidation of retail space audits, store information, historical reference photos, account VM/Marketing tools, etc. Streamlining the creative production process during Go-to-Market sell-in. Develop tools, templates and resources to be shared with cross-functional partners that align with seasonal priorities Additional assignments or special projects as assigned or agreed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Specialized skills in Visual Merchandising, with broad knowledge in retail environment. Strong organization skills. Strong communication skills. Knowledge of mannequin styling, product storytelling, and consumer engagement techniques to enhance in-store experiences. Experience with In-Store Communication/Marketing English fluent: verbal, written & spoken. Another European language is an advantage. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365. Additional knowledge, but not required: Adobe Creative Suite
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications
Business or Marketing Degree. 1-2 years’ experience in retail visual merchandising including fashion retailing.
