THE JOB:
The Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in leading the restaurant team to achieve operational and financial goals while upholding MGM brand standards.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Oversee daily restaurant operations, including budgets, labor, scheduling, inventory, guest service, and marketing to drive profitability

Support the General Manager in executing business plans and developing strategies to meet goals

Assist with HR functions, including hiring, training, team development, compliance, and fostering a positive work environment

Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, manage feedback channels, and collaborate with the culinary team for seamless service

Maintain expert knowledge of the venue’s food, beverage offerings, and equipment
 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Has previous experience working in a high-volume restaurant OR previous experience in a luxury or fine-dining restaurant

Has previous experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement
