THE JOB:
As a Starbucks Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the restaurant. You will also set the stage for the guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will take ownership of their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them long after their stay with us.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Review daily schedules and manage time-off and vacation requests; coach and train staff on policies, procedures, and performance.

Supervise cashiers to ensure correct check-handling and closing procedures are followed; manage activities related to access and egress to ensure full compliance with Health Department and Fire Marshal regulations.

Communicate directly with the Chef on all food service and menu issues.

Assist with seasonal and holiday menu changes.

Order supplies through the IP System and Purchasing.

Exercise cost controls for all aspects of restaurant operations.

Manage pricing and maintenance issues to ensure checks are processed correctly.

Communicate directly with guests regarding special requests and large party reservations.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

2+ years of prior relevant experience, including experience as a Barista in a similar dining environment.

Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
