The Opportunity:
As an Assistant Manager, Social & PR, you will be responsible for executing Sephora’s PR, events and social strategy, driving awareness & credible consideration vs competition across Australia and New Zealand. This dynamic role encompasses event planning and developing social toolkits for Sephora and our exclusive brand partners. The ideal candidate will be an organised, and results-oriented individual with a passion for storytelling and brand building.

Observing the latest social developments and trends within the beauty industry and designing event and brand social strategies to best drive engagement and social share of voice within the earned and owned space. Leading the strategic vision by shaping and executing PR events that earn credible attention and generate impactful press and creator content. Leading the social strategy for Sephora ANZ, working with regional counterparts on the calendar development. Leading the local deployment of the strategy for Sephora’s two earned content programs; Sephora Squad and Beauty Advisor Creator Club. Leading as main social & PR contact for all brand partners, developing a toolkit and advising brands on how to win at Sephora from an events and social POV to achieve mutually beneficial business objectives. Delivering on time post-mortem reports providing comprehensive performance and analysis for all events and brand campaigns.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
A Bachelor's Degree or higher in public relations, marketing, communications, or related field 5+ years of experience in social media marketing, public relations or a related field Demonstrated success in developing and implementing events and brand management strategies and campaigns, and developing creative and engaging content for multiple brands/stakeholders Experience with social media analytics and ability to identify key insights and optimization opportunities from the data Excellent written and verbal communication skills with expertise in creating compelling content across social media platforms Strong understanding of social media best practices, trends and technologies Analytical skills and attention to detail Strong leadership, presentation and collaboration skills Experience working with cross functional partners or clients to meet their business needs. Ability to organize and manage multiple detail-oriented projects and to meet deadlines.
