THE JOB:

As an Assistant Manager, you will lead a team in creating a comfortably intimate and friendly ambiance where guests can enjoy a small breakfast, a light lunch, or simply take a break from shopping at our European-style sidewalk tables. You will partner with your team to create a delightfully unique experience, as we roast our coffee beans on-site from the finest Global varieties.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Communicate with management, chefs and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address issues or needs requested by guests  and employeesOrder supplies through the IP System and Purchasing; prepare purchase requisitions for any outlets from the warehouse or  support departmentsMake daily floor plans per shift to ensure proper rotation and coverage of stationsSupervise floor service in dining rooms during hours of operationPerform employee evaluations and manage issues related to attendance recordsMaintain communication with the Chef on all food service and menu issues

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Is 21+ years of ageHas 2+ years of prior relevant experienceHas a High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
