Position:              Assistant Manager Production 

Reporting to:        Production Manager

Division:              Established Pharmaceutical Division - Operation

Location:             Karachi -Landhi Plant

Job Summary:

Provide support to Manager Production/dispensing and work with the team of Manufacturing & dispensing to ensure planning, organizing, executing, training, and monitoring of all activities with compliance of EQDs’ and AQs’ Policies / Procedures, Local Regulatory, cGMP requirements, EHS policies and security standing orders / code of business conduct.

Major Responsibilities:

To perform related Manufacturing & dispensing operations as per S.O.P with proper documentationAccountable to meet scheduled operation due dates, daily run rates, Continuous improvement plans, etc. in a timely mannerTo expose prioritize and stimulate the reduction or elimination of non-value-added activities and to reduce scrap, rework, and shrinkage, and to increase yieldsTo assist by providing information needed for measurement of KPI’s of supply side.To assist in root cause analysis against KPI’s results for continuous improvement of processEnsuring that products are packed under controlled environment, meeting all EQDs’ and AQRs’ policies, EHS and Housekeeping Standards. Assure compliance with local and Abbott rulesTo comply with security standing orders / code of Business conductMaintain Skill matrix/TNA/Master training of area staffMaintain positive employee relations atmosphere

Education/Knowledge & Experience:

Science Graduate/Master; preferably Pharm D3-4 years’ experience in the same capacity Proficient in MS OfficeTeamwork and problem-solving skills
