In this dynamic leadership role, you will supervise clinical operations, support and develop your team, and drive high-quality outcomes across our Respiratory Therapy services. Your Impact: What You’ll DoClinical Leadership & Excellence
Demonstrate advanced clinical competency in all aspects of respiratory therapy.
Ensure the highest standards of patient care through staff mentorship, observation, and real-time coaching.
Provide feedback, recognition, and performance guidance to support team growth.
Operational Oversight
Supervise daily workflow and ensure optimal coverage across shifts.
Partner with the Respiratory Manager to execute staffing strategies and special projects.
Oversee work assignments and ensure staff performance aligns with departmental goals.
Staff Engagement & Development
Lead initiatives to improve staff satisfaction, patient experience, and team communication.
Assist with employee evaluations, performance development plans, and recognition programs.
Enhance leadership visibility, especially during night shifts, to strengthen team connection.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
Act as a liaison across disciplines, promoting a team-oriented, respectful, and results-driven culture.
Facilitate department meetings and represent respiratory therapy in hospital-wide initiatives.
Evaluate and implement new tools, technologies, and processes to enhance care delivery.
Professional Growth & Innovation
Stay current with trends in respiratory care and healthcare leadership.
Attend conferences and continuing education programs; bring back insights to elevate team practice.
What You’ll BringMinimum 5 years of respiratory therapy experience
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate in a clinical setting
Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Commitment to excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
