Warehouse officer–Purpose/Key Objectives of the Job:
To supervise warehouse Operations, Inbound and Outbound activities in Warehouse to achieve smooth functioning and running of all warehouse concerning activities. Able to follow standard operating procedures and work in a methodical and tidy manner. Having a comprehensive understanding of inventory management techniques, inventory methods and procedures.
Responsible for safe operations of finished Goods and raw materials at Bangalore plant through onsite 3 PL. Study on picking and loading strategy and ensuring efficiency of both processes in Warehouse day-to-day operations. Ensure daily SLAs are met for RM and FG warehouse Prebatching Picking Invoicing Put away Dispatch Responsible for Inventory management (Inward/Storage/Cycle Count/Dispatch) Understand & analyze root cause of inaccuracy and put in control measure with the team. Conduct daily MDI meeting with shift team Routine & refreshing activities in work flow regarding top 5 hazards by conducting weekly tool box meeting by the team. Optimizing space utilization for storage of Finished Goods, RMs, Packing items & Intermediates. Systematic storing of Finished goods/RM and packing materials. Disposal of scraps on regular basis Ensure 5S across the warehouses.
Inbound Logistics- Imports
Coordinate with 4PL/Freight forwarders/Custom brokers/clearing agents and shipping lines. Track all import consignments on daily basis Ensure collection of right documents for all imports Timely Communication to stake holders on any transit delays Timely escalations for any challenges Co-ordinate with clearing agent and finance for duty payment Bond to bond movement in case space issues with valid approvals. Maintain all import and export documentation and records for internal and external audit Co ordination with CHA for vessel schedules for exports Export documentation through CHA as per LC/PO/PI Track Duty draw back for all exports.
HSE:
Contribute to BBS program at site Working together with HSE&S department to integrate safety into business process and Ensure the SAQ element 2.3, 6.1,6.2, 6.3 and 7.2 are in or above reference level
Responsibilities
Coordinate with Planning, Sales, Order Desk, Production, Commercial & Finance teams. Create a positive and developing climate, with respect to HSE. To lead and direct the logistics team. Ensure that site meets AN HSE Standards and Directives. Ensure proper documentation with regards to each process. Maintaining various reports & interaction with taxation department for smooth operation.
Job Requirements
University Degree. 10+years experience in Warehouse profile Good interpersonal relationships Good analytical and negotiation skills A team work skill person Fast leaner and logical thinking skills Good Industrial relations and labor legislation knowledge. A strong commitment people on duty
