Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, Compensation Benefits, CoE

In this role, you will be managing and executing compensation strategies and policies that align with the company’s business goals and philosophy. This role requires strong analytical acumen, stakeholder management, and deep understanding of compensation frameworks. You will play a key role in managing core compensation processes, advising stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with both internal policies and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain compensation programs, policies, and procedures in line with market practices and internal philosophy.

Manage end-to-end annual compensation cycles including salary reviews and bonus planning.

Analyze and review compensation proposals, hiring exceptions, and business cases to support data-driven decision-making.

Partner with business teams and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and efficiency in compensation processes.

Provide insights into compensation interventions and conduct impact assessments across levels and functions.

Monitor adherence to internal policies and external legal/regulatory standards and support internal audits, documentation, and compliance reporting for all compensation-related activities.

Continuously monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation policies/process and recommend improvements.

Key Skills Competencies:

Proficiency in advanced Excel, Power BI and data analysis techniques

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage large data sets and provide actionable insights

Strong understanding of compensation frameworks, practices, and compliance requirements

Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across HR, business, and finance

Ability to manage multiple priorities with a proactive, problem-solving mindset

High comfort with ambiguity and ability to navigate complex scenarios independently

Minimum Qaulifications:

MBA or equivalent post-graduate degree in HR or related field

Relevant experience in CB

Hands-on experience with managing interventions, compensation planning and total rewards system

Experience in handling compensation interventions, hiring exceptions, and total rewards system

Familiarity with compensation tools and HR systems (e.g., Workday)

Understanding of compensation-related statutory requirements
