THE JOB:

As a Convention Setup Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of convention setup. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Coordinate the set-up and break down of conventions, meetings and banquets in the convention area

Maintain rapport with client and convention/services managers to ensure client satisfaction

Attend weekly pre-conference meetings on upcoming functions

Inventory miscellaneous items in order to maintain proper par stocks

Ensure proper and accurate set ups for events

Inform employees of policies contained in the management policy manual and ensure compliance

Handle employee concerns with the intent of solving situations to the satisfaction of all parties.

Perform other job-related duties as requested

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

High School Diploma or GED

2+ Years of prior relevant experience
