Job overview and responsibilities

Responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion among different groups and within budget. Plan and designate project resources, logistics, monitor progress and keep stakeholders informed the entire way.

Responsible for planning and overseeing airport ops projects and initiatives that help drive performance, customer satisfaction, and employee engagementThinks creatively and promotes creativity and teamwork in order to execute on our hub goals; monitors progress and keeps stakeholders informed the entire wayEnsures that all projects are completed as assigned on-time, to specifications, with accuracy, efficiency and within budgetDevelops and maintains relationship with stakeholders for successDevelops detailed projects plan to monitor and track progress of all projects, addresses questions, concerns and/or complaints throughout the projectEvaluates projects and provides recommendations to address issues and opportunities for improvementSeeks out feedback from frontline employees and leadership and successfully promotes the business case for successful change managementCreates and maintains comprehensive project documentationDevelops spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needsCollaborates with organizational leadership to support organizational objectivesInteracts clearly, constructively and positively with all departments to ensure projects are completed effectively and with minimal disruption to planned eventsActs as a liaison between the company, customers and vendorsAttend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiencyDevelops comprehensive project plans to be share with all stakeholdersEnsures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual and company policies

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

High school diploma or equivalentFive years of aviation/airport operations or other operational experienceAt least three years of operations supervisor or greater experienceIntermediate experience in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel and web database reportingAbility to present analytical information effectivelyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailStrong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsEffectively engages with leadership at all levels of the organization with a high degree of professionalism while maintaining confidentialityAbility to lead and motivateStrong problem-solving skills and drive for excellence. Must be detail oriented, with ability to effectively review extensive amounts of information along with managing daily challengesMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
