Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, Travel Expense Claims
The Sr. Analyst, Travel Expense will provide high quality, end-to-end, back-office support for expense processing, business travel and corporate credit card administration. The core-processing model utilizes the Concur Travel and Expense management tool to ensure that employees are conducting business travel in accordance with corporate travel and expense policies. The Sr. Analyst will be part of a team responsible for streamlining our systems and processes to align with our expanding global business footprint.
Responsibilities
• Execute the end-to-end TE processing and auditing functions, assist, supervise and support any remote TE process.
• Viewed as a system specialist (subject matter expert) within their day to day tasks
• The Sr. Analyst may perform all duties of the Analyst position but under limited supervision and more ownership of the tasks
• Process, manage and reconcile the TE pay cycles utilizing reporting from Concur and SAP
• Initiate daily and/or weekly payments to American Express through manipulating reports and uploading them to servers
• Execute reimbursement reports and distribute to the payroll team before the deadline
• Ability to manipulate data to provide analysis and insights with limited guidance
• Solves complex problems and appropriately taps resources from other areas to solve problems
• Research all discrepancies within remittance payments and/or issues with payments to employees
• Pull and upload the monthly accrual reports and ensure they match accordingly
• Manage the Corporate Card program to optimize spend, drive compliance, and mitigate risks
• Oversee TE audits including working with the internal audit team on investigations, reporting on findings, and implementing strategies to resolve card abuse, policy violations, and improve overall compliance issues
• Ensure compliance with internal controls in accordance with policy and procedures and SOX requirements.
• Communicate with different areas of the business to obtain a broader understanding of their needs and how the TE team can assist
• Look for areas of process improvement to ensure efficient and effective processing of TE transactions.
• Provide information for monthly key performance indicators (KPI’s).
• Analysing: should be proficient in analysing reports, probing for further information when required and suggesting workable solutions when confronted with issues/problems.
• Customer relations: you must be highly focused on delivering against your stakeholder’s requirements, ensuring that the quantity and quality of your work is to a high standard at all times.
• Assist in special projects as required.
• Working with people: you must have the capacity to build effective relationships at all levels and proactively communicate with other employees, utilizing tact and diplomacy as appropriate.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
• Relevant years of experience within the TE and AP/Finance function.
• Proficient in using Concur Expense Management System
• Knowledgeable of the Business Travel Industry
• Experience and competence in using integrated ERP software (particularly SAP)
• Competent Microsoft Office user (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Communicates information and ideas clearly, shares information broadly and listens carefully.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with strong organizational skills.
• Accustomed to working with deadlines.
• Detail oriented and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Quick learner and self-starter, capable of working independently or collaboratively.
