Purpose of Role: Join our Engineering team as the Engineering , within the Mine Dewatering Solutions and Life Cycle Services division, contributing to both product and order engineering activities. This role involves managing and executing design and engineering tasks, developing mine dewatering pumping solutions,  and collaborating with cross-functional teams globally.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end product and order engineering for mine dewatering pumping solutions and life cycle services.Design and develop dewatering pumps and solutions.Handle pre-order and post-order engineering of dewatering pump solutions and life cycle services.Preparation of Pump GA and CS drawings and BOQ with specification and review of the same.Preparation of technical documentation for customer enquiries.Pump and Accessories selection and sizingSelection of Materials of construction for Pump componentsSelect Mechanical / Gland/ Expeller seal with Flushing Circuits   Ability to integrate Accessories with Pumps for Liquid Level control using Pressure Transmitters/ Level sensor.Select VFD for pump speed control,  Flow meters etc. for Process AutomationSelection of gearbox drives, pulley accessories, motors, engines and other components in pumping systems.Travel to remote Customer sites for Pump and Accessories problems and Vendor inspection  Pump application EngineeringCollaborate with global product teams and stakeholders.Oversee drawings and document control through the ECN process.Drive engineering project management, including planning, execution, organization, control, and closure.Conduct technical discussions with vendors and customers for project and complaint resolutions.Create BOMs and part codes in SAP/GPDM Teamcenter PLM.Support cross-functional teams in project execution, manufacturing, and IMS audits.Conduct Root cause analysis for Pump failures at SiteParticipate in reverse engineering activities for LCS product line.Carry out detail design work and technical procurement work with high accuracy and ensure the absence of any error in critical issues.Prepare technical specification for the bought out components such as motors, engine, instruments, gearbox etc.Review and approve technical offers from vendors for procurement. Ensure that, all engineering decisions include adequate consideration of efforts on cost and schedule as well as technical issues, and that all affected disciplines are consulted.All drawings, specification requisition, calculations and reports issued by the vendor are to verified and approved by the Pump Engineering ManagerAchieving >95% OTD for Drawings and, BOMSafety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

Educational Qualification (Required): Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience (Required): 8- 10 Years of experience in the field of mechanical engineering/order engineering/product engineering of rotating equipment such as pumps, mixers, gearbox etc.

Technical Skills required:

· Pumps and pump system design. Rotating equipment design.

· Pump application engineering knowledge

· Design and development of machine components

· Proficient in Manufacturing processes 

· Unigraphics NX for 3D modelling and AutoCAD - Mechanical for 2D 

· Product & Order Engineering Processes

· Gearbox, Motors, Pulleys, Belts, Instruments and other bought outs -  Selection and Sizing

· PLM – Teamcenter GPDM

· GD&T, Tolerance Stack-up

· Familiarity with pump system automations.

· SAP

· MS Office
