Strategic Planning Requirements

\n\nProvide optimized transport routing plans using route optimization tool – Paragon. Ensure the plans effectively maximize truck utilization/ truck turn given operations criteria (OTIF, truck capacity, time window, product combination, etc.) and customers’ priorities are fully met.\nLead the route optimizer implementation and improvement projects, that involve multiple stakeholders: Operations/ IT/ Subcontractors/ Operations Excellence/ Key Account Management/ SD/ BD/ KAM/ etc. and Regional team.\nWell-manage the planning parameter configuration and capable of running simulations for continuous improvement opportunities.\nMake sure SOPs and WIs are well established. Furthermore, be able to drive process improvement & digitalization.\nWork closely with daily planners and operations to improve transport route plans via getting their feedback as well as reviewing actual transport plan execution.\nEstablish and provide planning performance reports to internal stakeholders and/or external stakeholders.\nBe logical and data driven in understanding problems and developing practical solutions to those problems.\n\n

Management Requirements

\n\nSet KPIs, targets, and goals for monitoring and evaluating operations and cost effectiveness.\nEnsure that appropriate data is correctly and efficiently stored, processed and made available at all times.\nEnsures that DHL comply with prevailing legal and statutory requirements in all aspects\nDevelop a culture of quality, service excellence, and cost consciousness.\nParticipate in safety committee initiatives - allows and supports staff to participate in safety committees as required.\nEnsures that the employees comply with the rules, regulations, instructions, orders or measures relating to work safety.\nChecks the performances of the place of operations according to the work plan, project or measures on work safety.\nComplies with company OHS policy and procedures.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in any field, preference to Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics.\nStrong analytical thinking and data processing skills\nTransport management and transport planning\nUnderstanding of logistics operations, focused on transport executional approaches\n4+ years in relevant experience with transport product management, network planning, transport management system & data analysis, control tower concepts, project management.\n\n
