We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Assistant Manager, Service Sales to join our team at Rolls-Royce Power Systems, based in Tukang, Singapore. This role will be responsible for driving service sales and business development activities across the assigned portfolio, with a specific focus on applications including mission-critical infrastructure such as data centers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing both internal and external stakeholder relationships to achieve customer satisfaction, maintain and grow existing business, and develop new markets. This position is a replacement hire due to a resignation, and succession is critical as the existing backup resource will be retiring at the end of the year.
Rolls-Royce Power Systems is headquartered in Friedrichshafen in southern Germany and employs around 9,000 people. The product portfolio includes mtu-brand high-speed engines and propulsion systems for ships, power generation, heavy land, rail and defense vehicles and for the oil and gas industry as well as diesel and gas systems and battery containers for mission critical, standby and continuous power, combined generation of heat and power, and microgrids.

Key Accountabilities
Lead the planning, monitoring, and reporting of service application business, including service sales contributions towards the Annual Target Setting.Provide timely and accurate market intelligence, customer insights, and service trends to internal stakeholders.Deliver against incoming order targets and revenue objectives.Maximize service business revenue by driving proactive aftermarket sales strategies.Maintain accountability for the development and continuous improvement of the service sales network, ensuring strong customer coverage and penetration.Prepare and submit quotations aligned with regulatory and internal compliance standards, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Implement approved business strategies and service sales initiatives.Execute proactive sales for all Rolls-Royce Power Systems products relevant to the assigned application areas, including direct sales to end users and government agencies as well as indirect sales via channel partners.Develop, manage, and grow key accounts, especially strategic customers in high-potential sectors such as data centers and mission-critical infrastructure.Support the development of route-to-market strategies to enhance sales effectiveness, customer engagement, and market access.Take ownership of service-related business planning, including forecast accuracy and account-level planning.Any additional tasks or projects assigned by the line manager.Qualifications
A recognized Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in service sales, aftermarket business development, or key account management, preferably within the power generation or industrial equipment sector.Strong track record of engaging with customers across both direct and indirect sales channels.Prior experience working with customers from the data center industry or other mission-critical sectors will be a strong advantage.Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence internal stakeholders, including technical and operations teams.Commercial acumen with the ability to balance customer needs with business profitability.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP will be an added advantage.Why Join US?
