The Costing Analytics Associate Manager of the Material Costing Intelligence (MCI) will be a part of the Product Supply Enablement Function (PSE) at VF Corporation. Located in Singapore, the Associate Manager will be responsible for leading a team that drives fact-based costing framework adherence and systems that supports nearly $4B USD product cost across all VF brands and regions. Responsibilities include driving processes to rationalize product cost and developing, maintaining costing systems; enabling data insights to drive product cost optimization activities. The individual will bring a strong analytical mindset to the organization and fully leverage “One VF way” through use of common and scalable fact-based costing methodologies and systems. The intelligence professional will play an important role in the Product Supply Organization with an extensive focus on fact-based decision making and communication with Brands, Sourcing and vendor organizations. The individual will partner closely with costing and sourcing operation teams to govern costing framework and system adherence
Key Result Areas:
Costing framework governance
Own costing framework execution working closely with costing operations and vendors, actively identifying deviations to established fact based standards and provide guidance to vendors on rectification
Actively optimize cost validation processes across non-material cost categories with a focus on validating “should be” product complexity
Costing systems maintenance
Own Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) costing module implementation, working cross functionally across digital technology and sourcing teams to develop and maintain an E2E PLM enabled costing process
Serve as subject matter expert for PLM costing related topics (E.g. cost sheet methodology, reporting, price list, available datasets)
Costing analytics
Working closely with the Material Costing Intelligence Lead, co-drive strategic cost savings initiatives supporting with research and analysis
Maintain in-house Costing Data Warehouse system, ensuring on-time cost sheets and high quality data coverage. Work with stakeholders to develop analytic capabilities and data streams to broader supply chain

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
4-6 years of experience in a supply chain solutions or consulting analyst role
Undergraduate degree in Quantitative/STEM field (Masters in operations preferred)
Proficiency in product lifecycle systems (e.g. FlexPLM) with exposure to product development and/or costing related data or reporting
Intermediate user of Microsoft Office tools, especially excel (Pivot tables, etc.)
Basic knowledge of product costing frameworks
