Your New Role: \nThe Supervisor, Media Quality Control will oversee the daily Global Media operation, ensuring that proper standards and outputs are met. The Supervisor will also be responsible for establishing and implementing requirements with neighboring departments (clients, external & internal partners). \n\nYour Role Accountabilities: \n\nOperation \n\nProvide technical hands-on support to ensure acquisitions complete successfully \n\nMonitor and guide successful technical quality control in the Global and Local supply chains, utilizing auto-QC and automation where possible \n\nDocument and guide the unified Global QC process across all regions, reducing local differences where possible \n\nPrioritize and ensure success on departmental processes related to Global QC, and workflow triage. \n\nPartner with internal teams to document workflows and create SOPs. \n\nPerform other duties, as assigned. \n\n \n\nLeadership \n\nSupervise direct reports which will include the following: \n\nCommunicating and delegating operational priorities. \n\nActively prioritizing operational workload and staff work assignments. \n\nCoordinating and approving time off requests. \n\nConducting staff meetings. \n\nMeeting with staff one on one regularly to discuss performance. \n\nEncouraging open feedback from direct reports to contribute to operational efficiency. \n\nEnsuring shift coverage. \n\nTraining new staff. \n\nQualifications & Experiences: \n\nFluent in English \n\n5+ years of experience in a Media Operation quality control and/or duplication environment, or within a post-production facility. \n\nProven supervisory experience with at least 1 year in a role overseeing teams, projects, and/or operations. \n\nQuick problem solver, team player, good time management skills \n\nExcellent oral and written communication skills \n\nGreat organizational and interpersonal skills \n\nMust demonstrate knowledge of technical media concepts – video, audio, composite, component and digital. \n\nFamiliarity with equipment and techniques used in Media quality control and encoding processes and evaluations. \n\nThis position is considered an essential position that supports 24/7 operations. \n\nNot Required but preferred experience: \n\nCandidate should have a technical management background and familiarity with supervising technical workers. \n\nStrong leadership and supervisory skills, comfort with teaching and instruction. \n\nMult-lingual \n\nExperience with Non-linear editing software
