Assistant Manager, ERP Systems
REQ12996 Assistant Manager, ERP Systems (Open)

POSITION SUMMARY:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing system supports to business users on ERP application systems on Hearts Of House (HOH) area, maintaining and ensuring all various application systems operating stably and reliably and meeting user’s operation needs.

The candidate will report to Manager – ERP Systems and to perform daily application support, involve in new project implementation and life cycle management of ERP Systems.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide ongoing production support functions for ERP (Finance, Procurement, HR & Payroll) and related I.T. systems

Assist Senior Manager/Manager to engage business representatives in planning and managing systems acquisition, development and enhancement.

Assist Senior Manager/Manager to manage transition process from project to operations for ERP (Finance, Procurement, HR & Payroll) and related I.T. systems.

Assist Senior Manager/Manager to establish and manage business process, configuration and application change control.

Assist Senior Manager/Manager to perform evaluation for software selection and vendor’s proposal

Participant in identifying business process improvement opportunities and propose improvement initiative

Assist Senior Manager/Manager in staff management, motivation and development to improve performance, reduce attrition, staff retain and their career advancement

Participate in and/or manage various projects as a functional expert/representative. Projects typically impact multiple systems, processes and/or external parties.  

Analyze operations and related metrics to identify errors, user training needs and efficiency trends; implement related improvements

Analyze and implement effective and efficient processes to support uses and business requirements

Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Train team member and business users on new processes or functionality.

Ensure applications satisfy SOX, I.T. and other regulatory compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in enterprise level ERP systems and related I.T. systems.

Not less than 3 years in senior analyst/analyst position.

MUST process strong knowledge on Finance, Procurement, HR, Payroll and Scheduling operation and business needs.

Previous exposure to project-related activities through active participation in system-related projects

Preferably product experiences with MS Dynamics AX 2009/SAP/Oracle/Peoplesoft, Taleo, Virtual Roaster, Hyperion or equivalent.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or Post Graduate degree with major in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business (HR, Business administration or Accountancy) or relevant disciplines.

Skills / Competencies

Good interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.

Good problem solving and decision making skills to identify and resolve priority issues.

Able to communicate with all level of users.

Possess good leadership skills and have experience in 24x7 large operations support environment
