Assistant Manager, Brand Activation

This role is based at our New York Design Office or our Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls, WI. You’ll work onsite from Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

About the Role

In this role, you will advance Kohl’s brand relevance and awareness by translating strategic direction into actionable programs. You will manage tactics and campaigns to grow brand awareness, shift perceptions and drive credibility with groundbreaking partnerships, events and activations.

What You’ll Do

Manage the day-to-day development and execution of brand activation and brand campaigns, ensuring alignment with broader brand strategy

Support Senior Manager in translating high-level activation strategies into actionable plans, timelines, briefs, and processes

Lead large-scale events and partnership activations from ideation through execution

Collaborate with internal and external partners, including agencies, talent and content teams, to ensure quality control and timely delivery of campaign elements

Oversee executional details such as project timelines, budgets, contracts, content approvals and KPI tracking

Partner closely with the Senior Coordinator to manage logistics, while guiding prioritization and troubleshooting roadblocks

Provide thought partnership and insights during planning and recapping phases to drive continuous improvement in campaign effectiveness

Stay up-to-date on emerging trends, talent, competitor strategies and cultural moments to inform activation tactics

Support press, social content, influencer and engagement teams as needed

What Skills You Have

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Social Media, Communications, or other applicable areas of study

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in brand activation, influencer marketing or experiential marketing

Preferred

Previous experience working with creative or media agencies



Pay Range: $88,900.00 - $151,100.00
