**What are we looking for?**
The Assistant Maintenance Manager plays an essential role to ensure the smooth and efficient running of Engineering Department\.Responsible for the total Engineering function of the hotel\. To establish and maintain excellent team member relations and morale to achieve a high standard of team member performance in line with Hilton’s guest satisfaction objectives, as well as the hotel’s business and strategic plans\. Create and maintain of Hilton culture as our key Employee Value Proposition\.
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

+ To assist the DOE / Assistant Chief Engineer in the management of Engineering team members associated with Human Resource matters\.
+ Seeks to minimise costs through correct use and handling of hotel property and equipment\.
+ To ensure that a record is kept of the maintenance requests as required by the Brand standards
+ As an Assistant Maintenance Engineer he is responsible to support the whole engineering team and to ensure that the engineering and maintenance operations within the hotel, including general property maintenance, are working properly and up to the hotels operating standards\.
+ You are also responsible to keep all equipment in good repair providing day\-to\-day maintenance support to the hotel\. Additionally, work towards and support the improvement of engineering service to guests, other departments and colleagues\.
+ Complete maintenance work orders from all departments on a timely basis by following hotels standard operating procedures\.
+ Perform day\-to\-day routine and preventative maintenance within the hotel rooms and public areas\.
+ Respond promptly and efficiently to any maintenance calls that arise either by the guest or other departments\.
+ Respond courteously to guest requests promptly and resolve matters to the guest’s satisfaction\.
+ Able to priorities the maintenance issues e\.g\.: to attend the breakdown of plant and machinery on priority\.
+ Perform maintenance activities in the guest rooms and public areas including electrical equipment, plumbing and Air conditioningProgram TV's and perform general housekeeping and engineering\-related inventory duties\.
+ Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment\.
+ To monitor fire Alarm / Life Safety System systems as necessary, to be fully informed of the system operation and to handle emergencies involving the systems
+ Understand and operate electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and water systems\.
+ Communicate with different departments and to provide them with information and assistance\.
+ Check for new maintenance requests e\.g\.: OOO \- Out of Service and OOO \- Out of Order from the PMS \(Property Management System\) and update remarks once the task is completed\.
+ Able to use your wits and technical abilities to solve problems and make repairs effectively and efficiently\.
+ Able to maintain a daily logbook of work done during the shift\.
+ Able to delegate duties to the Engineering team leaders, and other technicians\.
+ Able to take charge of a shift of desired working hours by DOE \(Morning, Afternoon, Night or Break Shift\)\.
+ Able to complete the daily checklist before handing over the shift\.
+ Able to look after the smooth functioning of all machinery and equipment\.
+ Able to give proper handover to the next shift and also take regular briefing of the shift staff\.
+ Enter all guest complaints and back of the house complaints as soon as they are received at the engineering control desk log system and follow up, update with engineering coordinator\.
+ Execute the preventative maintenance schedule and ensure all equipment and designated areas are maintained to the required standard\.
+ Inform ACE of recurring complaints so that general shift staff can rectify the problems on the permanent basis\.
+ Responsible to take decisions when the DOE and ACE are not available\.
+ Maintain all tools, equipment, and working areas in good condition\.
+ Maintain the engineering working area and control desk in a good condition always\.
+ Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed\.
+ Train and instruct other members of the staff through sharing of knowledge and skills\.
+ Attend all firefighting classes and to obtain a thorough knowledge of firefighting appliances\.
+ Perform any other job assigned by the management as and when required

+ Well experience about the Engineering Supervisory position at least 03 \-5 years\.
+ Qualification of repair & maintenance of MEP & Civil engineering product\.
+ Good knowledge about planning and organizing wok work schedules
+ Hotel experience as a Maintenance Executive / Assistance Manager level under the engineering department at least 03 years\.
