Delaware North Gaming is hiring a part-time Assistant Kennel Master to join our team at Mardi Gras Casino in Cross Lanes, West Virginia. As an Assistant Kennel Master, you will be responsible for managing the greyhound’s environment, basic care, and supervision while in the lock-out kennel. What will you do?Maintain a safe, clean, and secure lock-out and cool-out area, ensuring all kennels are properly locked and sanitized before and after each racing performance Inspect the lock-out environment and greyhound holding crates prior to each race, monitoring ambient temperature and overall conditions Oversee the placement and removal of greyhounds in designated crates and inspect each dog for general health before handing off to the leadout Report any signs of injury or illness promptly and ensure compliance with all greyhound racing rules and policies Supervise cleaning procedures, including mopping and water removal, to maintain hygiene and safety standards throughout the facility 

Physical requirementsAbility to handle dogs ranging from 50-100 pounds Ability to lift, carry, push, pull 50-100 pounds
