An Assistant IT Manager will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of IT systems, including business systems, office systems, computer networks, and telephony systems throughout the hotel. This role works closely with and reports directly to the IT Manager, providing hands-on support to ensure smooth and efficient IT operations across all departments.
What will I be doing?
As an Assistant IT Manager, you will support and help supervise the IT Department to ensure the delivery and maintenance of all hotel IT systems and services, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. You will contribute to the implementation and performance of IT operations within budget, timelines, and in line with Hilton standards. Specifically, you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
Support the IT Manager in providing consistent, strong operational support for all internal hotel IT systems and users, minimizing system outagesAssist in the daily supervision and coordination of the IT DepartmentMaintain excellent product knowledge and apply it to deliver full system benefitsUnderstand and adhere to legal requirements related to IT governance and securityEfficiently handle and resolve IT issues that ariseIdentify current and future system needs and propose appropriate solutionsBuild and maintain strong working relationships with all hotel departmentsWhat are we looking for?An Assistant IT Manager serving Hilton is always working on behalf of our Guests and supporting other Team Members.
