**Overview**
**Assistant General Manager (AGM)**
As the senior member of the General Manager's staff, the Assistant General Manager (AGM) is responsible for organizing and directing subordinate personnel and all aspects of day-to-day shuttle operations. This position operates directly under the authority of the General Manager and has the authority to manage operations as needed per the applicable client contract, ABM, and local office policies. A valid Class B or higher CDL with a passenger endorsement is required for this role.

**Compensation:** 60,000.00 – 75,000.00 annually

**Work Schedule:** The AGM role is fully onsite with typical work hours being Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Weekends and holidays are generally considered off days; however, as a member of management, the AGM must always be available to respond to operations via phone, email, and/or in-person as needed.

The list below represents the general responsibilities of the AGM and is not all inclusive:
+ Act on behalf of the General Manager in their absence, documenting incidents and resolutions.
+ Monitor and review daily logs for completeness and accuracy, ensuring proper recordkeeping.
+ Review driver schedules to ensure staffing requirements are met and overtime is minimized.
+ Manage personnel replacement through standard hiring practices to maintain adequate staffing.
+ Evaluate employee progress during probationary periods and provide feedback.
+ Ensure accurate and timely payroll preparation and transmission.
+ Document and process injuries, incidents, and accidents appropriately.
+ Prepare and maintain Lead Staff schedules, discussing changes with the General Manager.
+ Conduct preliminary investigations into customer complaints and disciplinary matters.
+ Enforce all policies set forth by the Airport.
+ Respond to airport/client requests within contract and operational guidelines.
+ Review weekly attendance reports.
+ Prepare and update Training Manuals for all personnel.
+ Manage the Lytx camera program.
**Language Skills:**
+ Ability to communicate effectively in the English language.
+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and employee handbooks.
+ Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
+ Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
+ Must possess and utilize effective listening skills.
**General Company Requirements:**
+ Employee must comply with the Company’s management grooming standards and must wear their SIDA badge/Airport ID at all times.
+ Employee must comply with all guidelines and policies set forth in the ABM Corporation Employee Handbook, including but not limited to the Zero Tolerance Discrimination and Harassment Policy, Retaliation Policy, Ethics Policy, and Security Policy.
+ Employee must also comply with regulatory agency requirements, including but not limited to the ADA, ACAA, DOT, TSA, FAA, and Federal, State, and Local authorities.
**Education** :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent year for year work experience
**Skills / Experience:**
**_*Note:_** **Valid Class B or higher CDL with “P" endorsement required.**
+ Three or more years of supervisory or management experience required.
+ Previous aviation, shuttle, or bus operations experience preferred.
+ Excellent communication and leadership skills.
+ Budgeting, expense control, and scheduling experience is a plus.
