Description-Assistant General Manager
As an Assistant General Manager, you'll be at the heart of our restaurant's success, supporting the Restaurant General Manager by upholding brand standards and inspiring your team. You'll lead by example, training, coaching, and recognizing your team to deliver unforgettable customer experiences. When your team shines, so do you! In this dynamic role, you'll take charge of daily operations in the Restaurant General Manager's absence, making key decisions and driving the team toward excellence. We believe in having fun while embracing personal challenges and growth opportunities. Upon completion of training, this is a Salaried Position. Applicants, 18 and older, may apply.
Primary job duties include, but are not limited to:
Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by effectively modeling the MIC Success Routine and prioritizing customer needs.
Oversee Team Members' adherence to Shift Excellence responsibilities, maintain high food safety standards, and uphold operational excellence. Take charge of restaurant operations in the GM's absence.
Collaborate with the GM in assessing team performance, providing ongoing constructive and positive feedback. Address employee relations issues as they arise, determine immediate resolutions, or escalate to the GM when necessary.
Assist in sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring Team Members, while driving a culture of honesty and respect.
Act like an owner by assisting with Profit & Loss management, including cash control, security procedures, inventory maintenance, and labor management.
Review financial reports and take appropriate actions to optimize performance.
Support the GM in facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are consistently followed.
Work with different shifts to make sure the business operates effectively across dayparts.
Salaried employees are scheduled 45 hrs/wk.
Requirements
The ideal candidates must want to have fun while ensuring great food and experiences for our customers!
1 year of restaurant/retail experience, with 3 months shift lead experience preferred.
Adhere to cash, security, inventory, and labor policies.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Accessibility to dependable and reliable transportation.
Excellent communication skills, management/leadership and organizational skills.
Physical dexterity required (the ability to move up to 45 lbs. from one area to another).
Ability to work rapidly in an environment that entails pushing, pulling, stretching, etc.
Attendance and Punctuality is a must.
Operating of cash register as needed and making change for other cashiers.
Basic Math skills.
Maintain customer satisfaction and adheres to health and safety standards.
Promotes and champions Taco Bell's culture and values.
Provide constructive feedback to Team Members.
Execute shift duties accurately and efficiently.
Ensure teammates and customers enjoy a positive experience.
