This position is responsible for providing legal support and advice to all areas of Key Wealth, including Key Investment Services (Key’s retail broker-dealer and registered investment adviser) and its insurance agency KeyCorp Insurance Agency USA Inc. The team also provides advice on trust and estate settlement, including real estate and tax, wealth management, and institutional asset management, including employee benefits and other corporate accounts. The position also serves as primary point of contact for Key Private Bank and Key Family Wealth. Candidates should demonstrate strong experience in working in legal environments and have depth of expertise in applicable laws and regulations. The candidate should have management experience as this position leads a team of 3 attorneys, also supporting Key Wealth. The preferred location for this position is Cleveland, Ohio.

Bachelor’s Degree, Juris Doctor, Active State Bar Membership10 years minimum relevant experience in a law firm or in-houseMastery in assigned support areaExcellent analytical, writing, and communication skillsExperience providing proactive, solution-oriented advice on important legal, business and regulatory issuesIn-depth understanding of the banking industry and regulatory environmentIf relevant, ability to manage, train and supervise junior attorneys and paralegalsMature understanding of law firm billing and pricing practices to enable oversight of outside counselAbility to work collaboratively and build relationships within a large organization, including at the most senior levelsWillingness to learn new areas of the law, acquire new skills, and take on additional and/or new responsibilities as neededExperience providing proactive, solution-oriented advice on important legal, business and regulatory issuesAbility to work in fast paced environment and assist team with managing demands based on undestanding of organizational prioritiesJob Posting Expiration Date: 06/24/2025
