About the location:
Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor, perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and surrounded by panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the stunning landscape, first opened its doors in August 2024 following an extensive restoration and renovation of the historic property, originally inaugurated in 1929 on a vast private estate. After its successful debut, the resort will reopen to guests in March 2025, reaffirming its status as a unique destination of luxury and elegance on the island.About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and service-driven Assistant Front Office Manager to support the daily operations of the Front Desk and Guest Services team. In this role, you will work closely with the Front Office Manager to ensure a smooth and efficient guest experience, uphold high service standards, and assist in leading a motivated and professional team. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone ready to grow in Rooms Division management within a luxury hotel environment.
What You Will Do
Assist the Front Office Manager in daily operations, ensuring seamless check-in/check-out experiences and guest satisfaction
Lead by example, providing support, coaching, and guidance to Front Desk and Guest Services team members
Help manage staff scheduling, attendance, and daily task delegation
Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner
Ensure front office procedures comply with hotel standards and policies
Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest requests are fulfilled efficiently
Maintain a visible presence at the front desk during peak times and engage with guests, including VIPs, long-stay guests, and returning visitors
Support in cost control efforts and inventory management
Assist in training and onboarding of new front office staff
What You Bring
Previous experience in a front office supervisory or assistant manager role, ideally in a luxury or 5-star hotel
Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on service excellence
High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Flexible, positive attitude and ability to remain calm under pressure
Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
Solid understanding of front office systems (e.g., PMS) and general hotel operations
Ability to work rotating and consecutive shifts, including weekends and holidays
Work Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar role
Education: Technical or professional degree in Hospitality or related field
Languages: Spanish and English – high proficiency required
