Assistant Front Office Manager

Required Skills & Abilities:

At least two years of previous direct experience as hotel Assistant Front Office Manager. At least three to four years direct experience as hotel Front Office Supervisor. Flexible to work AM and PM shifts, mid-shifts, holidays, weekends and overnight shifts as needed Problem Solver, Self-Starter, Customer Service Oriented, Problem Resolution High comfortability in working with computers Must be able to stand/walk for at least eight (8) hours

 

Job Description

Manage Front Office staff and daily operations of department Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Gather and analyze information skillfully and develop alternative solution. Manage and resolve challenging customer situations, respond promptly to customer needs and solicit customer feedback to improve service. Supervise Front Desk, Night Audit staff and ensure assigned duties, closing paperwork and money drops are accurately completed Work closely with Housekeeping and Engineering to control out-of-order and discrepant rooms Enforce hotel and department policies and procedures, train, develop, counsel, discipline and evaluate staff Work closely with Valet team members to ensure performance expectations are being met Ensure proper credit and cash bank procedures are consistently followed Maintain guest safety and handle emergency situations, as well as emergency evacuations
