Assistant Front of House Manager

Management experience preferred, days, nights, and weekends typical.

Key Responsibilities:
Staff & Service Management
• Supervise FOH staff during service, including servers, bartenders, hosts, and beverage cart operators
• Act as Manager on Duty when assigned
• Lead pre-shift meetings and ensure proper station assignments
• Ensure all employees adhere to uniform and conduct standards


Guest Experience
• Greet guests, check in with tables, and respond to complaints or special requests
• Monitor pacing and quality of service
• Manage floor plan and seating strategy in real time


Beverage & Inventory Support
• Assist with beverage restocking and maintaining bar par levels
• Communicate low stock issues to Director
• Ensure proper rotation and storage of products


Training & Onboarding
• Train and mentor new staff on procedures, menu knowledge, and service style
• Reinforce ongoing training and SOPs


Cleanliness & Compliance
• Ensure all FOH areas meet cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Monitor staff hygiene and side work completion
• Confirm compliance with local alcohol service laws (e.g., TABC)


Event Support
• Assist with setup, execution, and breakdown of private events, buffets, or tastings
• Coordinate service timing and responsibilities during events
