4 Year Degree POSITION SUMMARYThe Assistant Football Coach will be responsible for assisting the head football coach with on-field coaching, practice preparation and game planning. The position also includes assisting with the recruitment efforts for the football program, traveling off campus for games, showcase and recruiting fairs, as well as visiting high schools. Th position will be responsible for maintaining contact throughout the recruiting process and coordinating campus visits.
The position operates on an 11-month annual schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting head coach in practice preparation and game planning
Recruiting-assist coordinating football program’s recruiting efforts
Recruit contact and visit coordination.
Coordinate player retention efforts

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university. 1 year or more previous college coaching experience Ability to adapt to changing environments and responsibilities. Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Efficient time management and task execution. Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building.
