**Salary** **:** starting at $55,000 commensurate with experience.
**Position Overview:** We are looking for a passionate leader for F&B operations at Cheyenne Mountain Resort. The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will oversee the food and beverage areas within the hotel. Responsibilities may include scheduling, forecasting and training, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws as well as all operating procedures. This person may also coordinate special events at the hotel. The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager must have strong communication and analytical skills.
**Job Functions & Responsibilities:**
+ Oversee daily operations ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
+ Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food and beverages
+ Monitor financial transactions and budget adherence, including payroll
+ Maintain Hyatt standards of service and ensure consistency in the guest experience
+ Address questions and requests as appropriate to maintain a high level of member and guest satisfaction and quality
+ Exercise quality control for both food and beverage
+ Ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations, local State regulations and Hyatt standards
+ Floor presence is a requirement during service
+ Coordinate food and beverage operations with other Resort departments to ensure efficient guest service
+ Resolve guest complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of satisfaction and quality
+ Coach and counsel employees to reflect Hyatt service standards and procedure
**Qualifications:**
+ Minimum of 2 years in F&B Management position.
+ Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred.
+ Ideal applicant will have strong organizational skills, ability to work with flexible work schedule, be a team player and a dynamic leader.
+ Must be able to provide full availability each week including weekends, holidays and overnights.
+ Commitment to follow food safety protocols.
+ Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, proven track record in high volume concept, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line
+ Clear concise written and verbal communication skills
+ Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
