**About the role**
The role supports the Finance Manager in executing administrative and financial tasks, primarily focused on the Singapore market. Key responsibilities include monthly sales closing, trade investment management, system uploads, and balance sheet reconciliation. The position also involves supporting ad-hoc projects such as system implementation for trade spend and audit activities. This role offers opportunities for cross-functional collaboration, particularly with the Commercial team based in Singapore.
**Your responsibilities**
+ Perform month end sales closing activities in the financial system, including passing journal entry onto Blackline
+ Manage trade investment accrual in Vistex system, from consolidation to system upload; by coordinating with commercial team to ensure the accuracy of provision
+ Prepare balance sheet reconciliations at month end for trade investment GL, ensuring proper supporting /documentation as per RB policy
+ Generate monthly reports such as IMS, customer P&L, and other necessary financial analyses.
+ Coordinate with the Supply Chain team to perform month-end distributor stock reconciliation.
+ Provide guidance to the Sales team and monitor resolution of trade investment accrual issues.
+ Monthly/Quarterly closures with account/channel heads regarding Trade Investment accrual and accounting, ensuring sufficiency of accrual and documentation
+ Maintain accurate and compliant financial documentation and uphold internal control standards
+ Assist in ad-hoc admin and finance assignment when required
**The experience we're looking for**
+ Recognized Diploma/Degree in Finance or Accounting, CA/ACCA or equivalent
+ Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
+ Candidates with accounting background in MNCs or audit firms are preferred
+ Microsoft Office literacy essential (strong excel skills in data compilation and aggregation, e.g., sumifs, indirect function, pivot table, v/h lookup, etc.)
+ Knowledge of SAP, HFM, Fusion knowledge will be an added advantage
+ Knowledge in internal controls and statutory regulations
+ General system fluency: willingness to partner with IT team on upgrades, change requests
+ Right attitude, positive minded & passionate in driving and succeeding in your career.
