We’re seeking an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Facilities Manager to support the delivery of exceptional facilities management at a prominent retail centre in the Sutherland Shire. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you’ll work alongside a high-performing team to ensure the asset is safe, well-maintained, and continues to provide a best-in-class customer experience. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to step up in their FM career and grow within a respected property group, or someone with related experience to start their career in Facilities Management.
**What you'll be doing:**
+ Assist with day-to-day operations of building and contractor management
+ Support compliance with safety and risk management protocols
+ Liaise with tenants, service providers, and internal stakeholders
+ Coordinate minor works, repairs, and maintenance schedules
+ Monitor and help manage the centre's operational budgets
+ You'll also be first point of contact for a smaller retail centre in Sydney CBD - giving you the opportunity to improve your skills in FM
**What we're looking for:**
+ Facilities or property management experience in a retail or commercial setting, or experience in a role that has given you transferrable skills
+ Understanding of building operations and WHS compliance
+ Effective communicator with solid stakeholder management skills
+ Tech-savvy with exposure to FM systems and contractor platforms ideal
+ A proactive mindset and strong attention to detail
