We have an opportunity for a Assistant\nEntity Controller to join our Corporate team in Bucharest.

Location & Work Schedule
Location:    3 George Constantinescu / Bucharest, 020339
Work Schedule:  3 days onsite at office /2 days’ work from\nhome - (Must be able to work in the office 3 days a week, full remote is not an\noption)

Assistant Entity Controller responsibilities:

Support to ensure Statutory reports are timely and accurately filed for multiple allocated reporting units and legal entitiesDerive Statutory Financials per local GAAP or IFRS (depending on the region), based on US-GAAP group reportingEnsuring all of the allocated entities financial transactions and obligations are properly accounted for and correctly reported for statutory reporting purposes based on the relevant accounting standards within the country of operationsSupport internal and external audit requirements, driving the statutory audit to completion in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with local statutory regulations/country requirements on books & record provisions as well as SOX-ComplianceLiaising with a variety of stakeholders to ensure deadlines, and standards are maintainedSupporting as necessary the Honeywell finance, legal and tax department on implementing and executing strategy and compliance activitiesOther accounting and controllership duties as determined by the solid reporting linesWork alongside tax consultants to assist with local tax filings and ensure compliance with tax regulationsSupport senior management with ad-hoc financial analysis and strategic decision making

Qualifications:

Experience within a similar roleDegree in finance or Accounting (preferably in the field of accounting)Ongoing or completed ACCA is a plusMinimum 3-5 Years of experience working as a financial auditor or working as a key contact to external financial auditors within an international matrix organizationFluency (both oral and written) in EnglishUS-GAAP or IFRS Accounting knowledge requiredExcellent proficiency in Standard Office Software, experience with standard ERP’s is a plusStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent time management, organization and prioritization skillsInitiative, positive attitude, self-starter, “getting-things-done” and “hands-on” attitude.
