Assistant Engineer
Job Description SummaryAssistant Engineer will be responsible for Mark VIe- Cabinet assembly , Cabinet wiring and assemble electrical devices while they are supposed to maintain the health of tools & machinery. Candidate may also perform tests on electrical items, such as Cabinets and sub assemblies.

Our Multi-modal Manufacturing Facility (MMF) in Pune plays a crucial role in manufacturing key aerospace components, supporting not only India’s defence and commercial sectors but also global aviation supply chains. Our relationships with Indian suppliers, combined with our world-class local facilities and global reach, continue to shape India’s aerospace ecosystem.


 

Roles & Responsibility:

Responsible for managing production no’s in Assembly, testing and subassembly of control cabinets.

Responsible to deliver product with first pass yield of : 95% or more.

Implement 1 Kaizen in safety, quality or productivity per month, also must comply to all EHS requirements & actively support EHS programs in the plant.

Should be actively involved in self managed teams (HPT)

Working with warehouse team for timely supply of materials

Ability to read blueprints, BOM and specifications

Ability to learn and work on various digital tools like MES and Panel design software (PLM)

Manage consumable requirement for production. Work on the cost reduction projects of consumables.

Handling customer complaints involving supply and delivery

Maintain tools & machine health

Identify and coordinate notice, input and resolution production challenges

The Ideal Candidate:
 

Experience in Mark Vie Cabinet assembly, Wiring and trouble shooting and ERP knowhow


Required Qualification:

First Class Diploma in Mechanical / Production/Electrical Engineering,

5-6 Years of Experience in Engineering industry – with firsthand experience of  Control  Cabinet assembly, Cabinet wiring.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with problem-solving, lean and quality tools and methodologies for control cabinet assembly
