=Overview of the position=
- Supporting the development of Cellasto jounce bumper, top mounts and coil spring isolator which are meeting the technical requirements and specifications from our automotive customers.
- Support the local technical development team of Cellasto products – including purchased surrounding parts – by finalizing 3D designs provided by application development engineers and the creation of corresponding drawings.
- This position requires working very closely with BASF's globally distributed Application Development Engineers and other internal stakeholders such as Product Management, Value Engineering and Operations.

=Main tasks=
[Drawing Creation and Part Design Optimization]
- Implementation of customer specific design features into the 3D models provided by application development engineers.
- Translation of the 3D models into part and assembly drawings under consideration of BASF internal design guidelines and customer specific requirements.
- Creation of initial designs and optimization of part geometries based on simulation results.
- Close collaboration with application development engineers in order exchange results, ensure quality of drawings and meet expectations with regards to time.


=Job Requirements=
- Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar qualification.
- Experienced with CAD Software (Solid Works and/or Creo Elements preferred)
- Experienced in part design
- General understanding of Fenite Element Analysis
- Fluent in Mandarin and English in both spoken and written.
