Project & Development Services - MENA 

JLL Project & Development Services (P&DS) MENA provides consulting, design, management and build services to tenant and owners, leveraging technology and digital solutions to drive outstanding service delivery. 

We bring a life-cycle perspective to our clients, from development solutions to our core services in programme, project and cost management and consulting in digital solutions, tenancy management, sustainability, leisure & entertainment, and workplace & design.  

Job Location: Marsa, Matrouh, Egypt

About the Role: As an Assistant Document Controller in our PDS team in Egypt, you will play a vital role in managing and maintaining project documentation for various construction and development projects. You'll work closely with project teams to ensure all documents are properly organized, tracked, and easily accessible. This position is crucial for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our project information systems, contributing to the successful delivery of our real estate developments in Egypt.

What this job involves:

• Assisting in the implementation and maintenance of document control systems.

• Receiving, logging, and distributing project documents and correspondence.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date document registers and filing systems.

• Supporting the review and approval process for project documents.

• Ensuring all documents are properly named, formatted, and version-controlled.

• Assisting in the preparation of document transmittals and distribution lists.

• Supporting the archiving process for completed projects.

• Helping to maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive documents.

• Collaborating with project teams to ensure timely document submissions.

• Assisting in the creation of document control reports and audits.

• Supporting the transition to and maintenance of electronic document management systems.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or related field.

• 1-3 years of experience in document control, preferably in construction or real estate development.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Word.

• Experience with document management software (e.g., SharePoint, Aconex, Documentum).

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Fluency in English and Arabic (both written and spoken).

• Basic understanding of construction terminology and project lifecycles.

• Familiarity with CAD software and ability to read technical drawings (preferred).

• Knowledge of ISO standards related to document control (preferred).

• Experience with database management (preferred).
