We are hiring for an experienced Assistant Director, Product Management for Individual Solutions, focusing on Customer Support and Operational solutions in Workplace Personal Investing. In this role you will be responsible for crafting vision and strategy, driving product execution, collaborating across various teams for impactful outcomes. You’ll bring curiosity, flexibility, and a passion for solving customer problems, while gaining hands-on experience across the full product lifecycle—from discovery to delivery and iteration. You’ll be responsible for: Leading the execution of the WPI: Financial Planning product strategy in the Advising and Servicing working team Understanding and defining key business outcomes and requirements for specific components of the servicing team’s needs which includes: Owning the conceptualization and associated build of user journeys and the capabilities required to form 24/7 multi-channel support with live agent access with phone, email, and chat. Creation of staffing strategies and scheduling systems to ensure round-the-clock availability. Mapping of essential workflows, handoff rules for blocking issues, self-service FAQ/knowledge base pages, “how to” videos for more complex processes. Creation of servicing chatbot capabilities, functionality, and any other applicable components. Develop the Servicing team and standards for guides, flows, content, modules, and collaborate with team leaders, L&D resources to meet goals. Building of the Operational Dashboard, including key touchpoints, required capabilities, use of data and user feedback, across product operations, supervision, and compliance. Establishment of backend support management processes involving CRM, priority levels for blocking issues and customer tiers, along with automation of reporting resolution times and backlog trends. Responsible for the development of a forward-looking, multi-year product strategy & roadmap based upon a robust understanding of internal & external customers, market, competitive & regulatory trends. Work across the team to ensure consistency across products, solutions, services, and offerings. Develop, mentor, and motivate staff or key collaborators in an environment that embraces change, fosters focus, teamwork, creativity, timeliness and results that are measured and recognized. This may include hiring, training, performance management and salary administration. Mentor and motivate staff to further their development and use their capabilities. Provide ongoing feedback for improvement and proficiency development. Assist team and peers with workload, as needed, to meet deadlines and accomplish shared objectives. Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required. Who You Are Bachelors degree with finance/economics emphasis or equivalent education and experience 8+ years of business, technology, or product management experience 5+ years working in a fast-paced setting, collaborating closely with engineering teams and partners, handling various projects, customers, and business demands. 2+ years leading project or technical teams passionate about complex environments, various collaborators, and successful delivery processes. Excellent communication skills include the ability to lead, influence, and negotiate with partners at all levels of the company. Experience with contact management systems, live chat, and AI chatbots, IVR/call routing, and virtual assistants highly desired. Strong critical thinking, collaboration, and decision-making skills along with outstanding business savviness and relationship management skills. Demonstrated experience collaborating, influencing, and negotiating in a professional team environment, including using diverse perspectives and data to inform actions. Talent Level: We’ll consider talent at the Director level with the right experiences and skills. To be considered at the next level, candidates will need a minimum of 10+ years of experience and demonstrate competency and capability to make an impact at the Director level. Salary Range Information Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly) $123000 - $167000 / year Time Off Program Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
