Clinical Manager

Job Overview:
Managers patient care delivery on an assigned shift. Ensure that the unit department division is in compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulations. Assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services. Assists the staff with the development / implementation of the nursing process, i.e. admission assessment, discharge plans and patient teaching. Delegates and prioritize work assignments according to the individual associate's competence and patient care needs. Demonstrates fiscal responsibility in managing resources, staff and supplies. Follows established guidelines for staffing scheduling policies, as related to daily staffing, OT, budgetary justification.

Qualifications:

Required:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing At least 2 years acute care nursing experience or 2 years acute care nursing experience with preview management experienceSuccessful completion of all Orientation Programs

Preferred:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Certifications and Licenses Required (if applicable remove when posting):

Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of NJBLS from the American Heart AssociationAdditional certifications may be required as per the Administrative Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification Policy

Scheduling Requirements:

FTDay shift37.5 hours weeklyMay be required to work on call, weekends, and holidays
