Assistant Director of Sales - Corporate with Conrad Hotels and Resorts manages designated portfolio, contribute to hotel sales and marketing plans by recommending growth efforts, monitoring progress, and ensuring that the hotel is competitively positioned within the local marketplace.

What will I be doing?

\n

As Assistant Director of Sales - Corporate, you are responsible for working closely with the Director of Sales/Commercial Director to drive business needs, explore new business and expand existing business through promotional efforts and sales channels. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nContribute to hotel sales and marketing plans to ensure they accurately interpret and support the objectives of the business and use these plans to focus on sales efforts for designated market segments.\nEstablish account development plans on a yearly basis. Maintain a comprehensive and updated account portfolio data, competitive set information and rate summary sheet.\nInvolvement in drawing up Sales Activity Plan, submit weekly call reports and future week acitivity plan as per defined reporting standards as determined by Director of Sales.\nAssist Director of Sales to work at successful RFP programs. Develop target lists and action plans for account solicitation.\nPrepare corporate rate contracts in accordance with current business and pricing conditions.\nOrganise comprehensive information describing the range of products and services offered by the hotel and deliver this information through relevant sales resources and channels to existing and potential clients.\nProduce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the hotel and the management.\nContribute to relevant management meetings to develop and implement sales and marketing initiatives.\nConduct \"Bring Back Old Business\" and repeat calls to increase demand and overall revenue.\nReview sales activities of the team, ensuring that they are achieving the minimum number of activities per week\nEnsure that sales calls plan for the team are submitted on weekly basis\nParticipate in industry events and represents the hotel at trade fairs and workshops, agreed by the Director of Sales and in coordination with the entire Business Development.\nConduct quarterly Account Development review with the entire team along with Director of Sales and Commercial Director, ensuring that the team is performing at optimal level and maximizing revenue.\nSupport Director of Sales in supervising and coaching Sales Coordinator through close suuportive relationship.\nSupport Director of Sales/Commercial Director with tasks such as trainings and perfomance related assessments.\n

-      Knowledge of hospitality

-      Passion for sales and for achieving targets and objectives

\n

-      Degree-level qualification in a relevant field would be advantageous
