Assistant Director of Revenue Management - Hilton San Diego Bayfront

Hilton San Diego Bayfront is looking for their next Assistant Director of Revenue Management to join their dynamic team! Rising above San Diego Bay and steps from Gaslamp Quarter, Petco Park, and Rady Shell at Jacobs Park, Hilton San Diego Bayfront is the signature SoCal resort.

As the Assistant Director of Revenue Management, you would be responsible for assisting the Director in monitoring, managing and maintaining group and transient inventories to ensure the most effective and efficient balance between demand and availability in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

\n

The ideal candidate will have a min of 2 years of revenue management experience working in hotels, with Hilton experience preferred, but not mandatory. To be successful in this role, any background and experience in commercial services is preferred, as you will work very closely with this. 

\n

Shift Pattern: This is a Hybrid role - with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote work - Monday - Friday

Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000, final offer based on experience

What will I be doing?

\n

As the Assistant Director of Revenue Management, you would be responsible for assisting the Director in monitoring, managing and maintaining group and transient inventories to ensure the most effective and efficient balance between demand and availability in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nAssist in managing and maintaining group and transient inventory controls including, but not limited to, room accommodation and rate inventory controls, roll-in controls, group inventory and cut-off dates, implementation of blackout dates, maintaining demand information and managing sellout strategies in partnership with Front Office\nPartner with Reservations to ensure efficient management of daily group inventory to maximize inventory and profitability\nDevelop, monitor and adjust sales and pricing strategies\nParticipate in competitive and demand analyses\nAssist in forecasting, reviewing all competitive shops, reviewing demand, convention and city event calendars, maintaining data on competitor products and maintaining historical data on events and performance\nMonitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward\nRecruit, interview and train team members\nAssist in daily department management and participate in and facilitate meetings\n
