Assistant Director of Finance

Embarc on a new journey by joining the up-and-coming fabulous Alila Mayakoba, the first Alila in Latin America. We are looking for aAssistant Director of Financeto lead and coordinate accounting and financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, legal regulations, and internal policies. This role oversees financial reporting, reconciliations, accounting entries, inventory records, and audit processes. The candidate will also assist in preparing budgets, monthly forecasts, and financial reports, as well as implementing efficient accounting procedures. Prior experience in accounting supervision, audit management, and cross-departmental coordination is required.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Solid understanding of accounting and tax regulations

Proficiency in USALI (Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry)

Account and bank reconciliations

Monthly financial closing

Financial analysis and decision-making

Team supervision and leadership

ERP systems knowledge (Oracle, SAP)

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

Regulatory compliance focus

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar accounting or finance roles
